Upton Country Park Tramper

Explore Upton Country Park from the woodlands to the shoreline on our all-terrain Tramper from Countryside Mobility.

A Tramper is an electric all-terrain mobility scooter designed specifically to cover rough ground and grass safely. It can go up and down slopes, over bumps and tree roots, through shallow puddles and across mud and soft ground.

With a top speed of four miles an hour it can keep pace with walking companions.

The scooter is easy to use (so don’t worry if you’ve never used a mobility scooter before) and offers the chance to explore most of the Country Park.

Bookings are in 2-hour slots with space for an additional hour before the next booking. You are welcome to book both slots that are available if you would like the Tramper for the whole day.

The Tramper is leased from Countryside Mobility and you must be a member to use it. If you are not already a member you can sign up on the day of your visit, you must have the correct ID to do this. Introductory training is a key part of becoming a member and needs to be done in person, so you cannot become a member online.

Full T&Cs for the use of Countryside Mobility Trampers must be read before booking and can be found here: https://countrysidemobility.org/conditions/

We will also ask for a booking contribution to be paid on the day of £2.50 for each booking, this helps with the costs of running the Tramper at the Country Park.
