Spoken Word Open-Mic Night in Upton House
Join us for our first ever Spoken Word Open-Mic Night at Grade II* Upton House! Bring along your friends and your creations — poems and stories of all kinds welcome — to perform at our warm and receptive community group or just enjoy the performances of our talented local poets and writers.
If you’d like to cook up some fresh writing beforehand, we have our Nature Writing Workshop micro-retreat running in the afternoon, which includes FREE entry to this event.
Tickets are £3 each or £15 with a light supper. Please indicate your choice of meal on the online booking form, options are chicken or vegetable curry with rice and naan or meat or vegetable lasagne with garlic bread.
